i came across "the first's" journal and was happy to find two more. just wanted to let you know i thouroughly enjoyed reading all the entries. a nice way to start my day... with a smile.
i wish i had done something like this with my kids. i'm sure these are words and times that you will always treasure.
This is the third in a series of our children's journals, which we began for them when they were too little to do it themselves. In small, spiral-bound books we collected interesting or funny things the boys said, lists of treasures, first words, and simple milestones on the journey of their lives. Our youngest boy, the Maker, is the subject of this collection. His older brothers, the First and Ice, will appear here from time to time as well.
The way it works
These posts are entered in reverse order. Once they are all posted, the earliest entries will be at the top of the page so that the book reads chronologically. The title of this blog was inspired by a pronouncement the Maker once made when the family sat down to dinner (which must have included grapes): "Now we are together with grapes," he told us. And we were.
